Information to the 7th BFCC
Information to the 7th Berlin Firefighter Combat Challenge and the 3rdEuropean Firefighter Combat Challenge, from September the 4th until the 8th on the Airport Tempelhof.
Challenge takes place on the area of the former Airport Tempelhof starting on
Wednesday, the 4th of September until Sunday, the 8th.
The closest entry to get on the Challenge area is from the streets “TempelhoferDamm / Manfred von Richthofen-Straße”, right next to the subwaystation “Tempelhof”.
As usual there are hardly parking lots around.
The online-application opens on Mai the 10th.
As the event lasts 5 days there should be enough starts for everyone. Depending on the number of starters, the local registration at the Challenge will be open from Wednesday to Saturday.
Everyone can apply for a single-start and/or tandem and/or relay-start.
For the 3rd European Firefighter Combat Challenge on Sunday you can’t apply, you have to qualify!
The best 60 single-starters of the first four days and the best 16 relay teams will compete at the European Championship!

The times are not fixed yet and can change slightly!
As you know, everyone is only allowed to start one time but we try to offer some practice times. Therefore the teams might have 5-10 minutes to test the course without time measurement on Wednesday and Thursday.
On Saturday there will be the victory ceremony for the single- and tandem-starters of the 7th Berlin Firefighter Combat Challenge and the qualified single starts and the best 16 relay teams will be announced.
On Sunday the 3rd European Firefighter Combat Challenge will start with the single starts before the relay teams start their knock-out round.
